ACCRA – Ola Maame, founder of The Ola’s Herbal and Spiritual Center (Soul Travel, Ghana), has summoned controversial pastor Prophet Jedidiah Henry Kore, known as “Fire Oja,” before the Nae We Arbitration Court following a series of defamatory remarks he made against her and veteran musician Mzbel.
The move came on Thursday, January 8, 2026, when Ola Maame, accompanied by her entourage, presented her petition to Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III (the Nae Wulomo), the Highest Chief Priest and custodian of Ga traditions. She seeks redress for what she describes as “unguarded and highly defamatory” public statements made by the pastor.
After preliminary rituals, Maame formally notified the traditional court of her intention to press four specific counts against Fire Oja: labelling her a prostitute; accusing her of infidelity; falsely claiming her seven-year-old son is not her husband’s child; branding her a “fake spiritualist”,; and alleging she caused individuals to develop schizophrenia lastly claiming She is defrauding poeple with her work
The Nae We Traditional Court, located in Gbese, Jamestown, is a longstanding dispute-resolution body within the Ga traditional justice system. It operates not as a modern legal arbitration panel, but as a customary institution employing traditional alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
The case is scheduled for hearing on Thursday, January 15, 2026. It promises to be a closely watched confrontation as Ola Maame turns to traditional authority to defend her reputation, legacy, and personal integrity.
