Ghanaian actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson, claimed that the National Cathedral project’s building is a misguided priority in an interview with Power Entertainment on Power 97.9fm.
In Yvonne’s opinion, building a church should be the last thing the government considers doing in light of the present economic crisis.
But the government should prioritize spending on health care and education.
“I think given the present economic situation, building a church should be the last thing on the government’s mind.” “They should instead invest in the health or education sectors,” she added in the interview.
“If prayers could fix all of our issues, we wouldn’t still be alive today… I myself frequently pray. “I don’t think anybody prays more than I do,” she continued.
