Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, known by many as Medikal, has opened up about how people see him and what his real life actually looks like. According to him, the image people have built around him online is not the truth. He says the flashy lifestyle, luxury cars, and rich look people see on social media do not show his real situation.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Joy Prime, Medikal said many fans think he has a lot of money just because of the things he posts. But he explained that most of these assumptions are wrong.

Medikal said clearly, “People think I have money, but I don’t have anything. I am still upcoming.”
His statement made the host laugh, but the rapper said he was being very honest.

Luxury Cars Online Are Not His

Many people on social media always talk about Medikal’s cars and rich lifestyle. But in the interview, Medikal revealed that the expensive cars and flashy items people see in his music videos are not his own. According to him, most of these cars are borrowed for music videos, photo shoots, and other creative work.

He added that this is something almost every celebrity does, not just him.
He said, “Even Rick Ross and others, they borrow cars to shoot content.”
This statement shows that what fans see online is often not real life.

People Also Think He Is Rude

Medikal also spoke about another belief people have about him the idea that he is rude. Many Ghanaians think his online behavior and tough music lyrics reflect his real personality. But Medikal says that is not true at all.

The AMG Beyond Kontrol artiste explained that his stage personality is completely different from the real him. He says people who meet him in person are often shocked because he is actually very calm and respectful.

He gave an example using movie actors, saying:
“You see movie actors like Rambo killing people, but in real life, they’re different people.”
In the same way, he said people should not judge him based on his online lifestyle or lyrics.
He added, “I can compose a song and diss people, but that does not mean I’m rude in my personal life. That’s not how I am.”

Medikal Wants Fans To See His Truth

With these comments, Medikal shared a side of himself that many fans have never seen. He wants Ghanaians to understand that social media is not real life, and what people see online is only for entertainment and creativity.

Medikal’s honesty shows that fame often comes with pressure, and many celebrities feel forced to look rich even when the reality is different.
