“If we look back today with satisfaction about how well we handled the COVID-19 pandemic three years ago, it was all due to the hard work and dedication of our staff” Dr. Mrs. Agyeiwaa Owusu Sarpong stated.

She mentioned that in the midst of all the challenges they had during the year under review, many of her staff continue to work hard, and break their backs to achieve the gains the health directorate now celebrate.

To this end, she encouraged stakeholders especially the various Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the region to support in this regard by helping the health facilities in  their various localities to secure decent accommodation facilities for qualified posted health workers.
