The Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Teacher Initiative, spearheaded by the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, is making a remarkable impact on basic education across the district.
The initiative currently supports 39 public schools, benefiting a combined population of 8,829 pupils and 137 teachers, in what many residents describe as one of the most practical education interventions in recent years.
At a time when many schools are grappling with teacher shortages and limited resources, the initiative provides direct financial support to teachers, easing the burden on schools and ensuring that pupils continue to receive consistent instruction.
